My Total Gym 2000 is over 20 years old. after around 6 months the plastic coated cable frayed and was ready to snap. Since I use additional weight to slant board, It needed to be replaced immediately. Well, I purchased a cable from Huck Products and I have had it for almost 20 years now. It is still in perfect condition and it gets plenty of use. I highly recommend their products if you have a Total Gym. My sister purchased cables as her s were frayed as well and she couldn’t be happier.I will be ordering some wheels from them very soon. They are sincere and very trustworthy. Great prices as well.

Found these online and ordered the set of 4 to change them all. Placed the order around 11am Friday and they arrived in the mail on Monday. They glide so much better than the original wheels, just need to put some car wax on the frame tomorrow as was suggested in the packaging. Thanks guys.

Much better built, with bearings, than original. Down side would be I might be getting less of a workout due to loss of friction from the bearing.lol Price is a little high but I don’t mind paying a premium for AMERICAN MADE! Only gave 4 stars since I only them for a week. Lastly I did add block to the glide board stops, as suggested, since I could tell that the hinged joints of the rails led to the failure of the original rollers.

The stock cable that comes with the TG will break after a few years of use or less depending on how often it is used. Amazon had a replacement but after scrolling down the reviews I found that it broke after six months (!). Although I’ve had the Huck replacement cable for just a few months, it is living up to the product description. Absolutely no signs of fatigue (cracking) on the cable. It seems a lot less rigid than the stock TG cable as well. Easy to install also thanks to the instructions Huck sends with the cable. Same deal with the replacement roller wheels for the glideboard. One of the stock wheels developed a little “pothole” that I could hear and feel while using the TG. Ordered the four replacements from Huck and in comparing the stock model to the Huck replacement, it was obvious the Huck product was superior. Installation was pretty easy (any difficulty was minor and was because of the TG Fit design, NOT the Huck product or instructions). The instructions also came with useful (and simple) ideas to maintain the TG. Bottom line: For Total Gym replacement parts, I highly recommend Huck Products!

They are EXTREMELY well made and, in my opinion, are significantly better than the stock nylon strap handles. I have large hands and would sometimes get blisters from the way the nylon straps on the stock handles rubbed me. The Huck Products handles have large comfortable grips attached to stainless steel rods that remain rigid during exercises with no abrasive straps to rub my hand. I use my Total Gym GTS six days a week. These handles have made an enormous difference in my workouts in just two weeks of use.
